The African Government is Providing EHTs Media Award 2022 in order to Promote emerging health technologies being developed for use in Africa. Emerging Health Technologies Media Award of Excellence is not only limited to gene drives for malaria control and elimination; drones for improved health; artificial intelligence; and microgrids for healthcare.

Eligibility Criteria For AFIDEP HealthTech Media Award 2023-24

• Candidates must be a working health Professional in the Emerging Technologies.
• Candidates must have Published his works and Finding in the Form of print, radio, television, and online media.
• Languages of Publication should be English or French. Content in Regional Languages should be translated before Submission for AFIDEP HealthTech Media Award 2023-24.
• Only African journalists are eligible for the competition.
• Candidates must have Published/ Broadcast his work from 1 October 2021 to 31 October 2022.
• Topic of Research work should be related to EHT development issues relevant to Africa, such as ongoing research, regulatory frameworks, community participation, public awareness and understanding, equity and benefit sharing.

Emerging Health Technologies Competition Category Detail 2022

All the Participants of Emerging Health Technologies Media Awards 2022 should submit only one Entry per Category from Following , No Other topic will be entertained For AFIDEP HealthTech Media Award 2022.

Print journalism	Finding Published in newspaper, magazine, journal or newsletter having 700- 1,500 words
Radio journalism	Documentary or discussion programme Time Duration :- 5 min – 45 min
Television journalism	Documentary or discussion programme Time Duration :- 5 min – 45 min
Online/new media:	Finding Published in any Online newspaper, magazine, journal or newsletter having 700- 1,500 words  OR Audio/visual documentary or discussion programme between 5 and 45 minutes.

Prize Amount For Emerging Health Technologies Competition Awards 2022 Winners

Candidates will be chosen in each Category as winners and runner ups Separately by the Selection Team and will awards the Prize Money in Proper Ceremony.
