National Bank of Pakistan NBP has Announced the Merit Based as well as Need Based Scholarships For the Brilliant and Well Deserving Students of Undergraduate, post graduate, MPhil and PhD Level. Those Students Who Have Already Got 70% Marks in A Previous Class can apply for the loan. The NBP Loan Scheme is especially for those students who cannot afford the expenses of their Higher education.

NBP Has announced that NBP Loan Scheme for BS/MPhil/PhD is Provided to the Eligible Students of Undergraduate , MPhil and PhD Level who want to pursue their higher studies and Are Very Talented but Cannot Afford Education Expenses.

NBP Need Based Student Loan Scheme 2022 Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must have obtained admission in any college or university on Merit base.
- For loan on Graduation level, candidate must be under 21 years of age.
- For Post graduate level, candidate must be maximum 31 years old.
- For having loan for PhD, the age limit is 36 years.
- Interested candidates must have secured atleast 70% marks in the previous level exams.
- Student must repay the loan in monthly installments after six months of his/her first employnent.
- For loan scheme, candidate have to select the subjects from the list given below by NBP.

- 2 Photographs of Student attested by not below the rank of BPS-17.
- Attested copy of Fee Challan demanded by institute
- Attested copy of Boarding Expenses demanded by institute.
- Income certificate from the Govt./Semi-Govt./Private sector Employer.
- Incone certificate from the area counselor of the Union Counsel.
- Attested copies of :
- Domicile
- Computerized N.I.C of Parents and Students.
- Secondary School Certificate
- Higher Secondary Certificate
- Degree(s)
- Marks Sheet/Transcript (Last Examination)
- Four un-stamped envelopes of Permanent & Hostel address
- A certificat from the Vice Principal/Registrar of the concerned University Letter Head confirming date of admission and completion date of study
