History of Eid al-Adha

Eid Ul Adha is Celebrates in the Remembrance of Slaughter of Hazrat Ismail by the Prophet Ibrahim On the order of Allah.

On next day, both Prophet and his Son Ismail went to Open Ground to Fulfil the Allah’s Order. While On their Ways to Slaughter ground, Shaytaan, or Satan attempts to confuse Ibrahim and Ismail and try to Not Obey the Allah’s Order. But they did Not Any attention to words of Shaytaan, or Satan .

However, As the Ibrahim Closes his Eyes and is going to Slaughter his Son after Saying Dua. Allah Send Angel  Jibreel, or Gabriel, with a ram to sacrifice instead of Ismail. Allah become So Happy with the Obedience of Prophet Ibrahim and Hazrat Ismail that it is then Essential of Haji. Every Year , Muslim Slaughter the Male Animals on the final day of the Hajj pilgrimage, the fifth pillar of Islam.

Why and How Muslim Celebrate Eid al Ahad?

On 10th Dhul-Hijja, Muslims Celebrate the Greater Eid Also Known as Eid al-Adha in order to Remember the devotion of Prophet Ibrahim to Sacrifice of his Son Ismail On the order of Allah.

It is Also One Of most Essential Component of Hajji as Per the Command of Allah. Muslims travel to Mecca annually to perform the Hajj pilgrimage and Slaughter Animals On 10th Dhul-Hijja.

In the Light of teaching of Holy Quran, An Adult Earning Muslim having financial standing of at least 52.5 tolas of silver For One year must give Qurbani. There Should be No Loan on the Muslim who is Giving Qurbani.

Can i Do Charity instead of Qurbani on Eid Ul Azha?

Charity and Qurbani are two Different Obligation in the Islam. To ensure you receive rewards from Allah (swt) “for every hair of the Qurbani” as described by the Prophet Muhammad (saw) you must arrange for an animal to be sacrificed.

Allahu akbar, Allahu akbar, La ilaha illallah, Wallahu akbar, Allahu akbar wa lillahil hamd

English Translation of EID TAKBEER is as Follow

“Allah is the greatest, Allah is the greatest, there is no god but Allah. And Allah is the greatest, Allah is the greatest and to Allah belongs all praise.”

How to distribute the Qurbani among the Muslim?

Qurbani Should be equally divided in three Parts , One For Own Family, One For Friends and Relatives and third one For Poor and needy People.
