Breaking News: Xiaomi Coming to Pakistan Next Week| Xiaomi Mobile Production in Pakistan 2022

A Chinese Mobile Brand Xiaomi is Going to Set up its Production Unit in Lahore Pakistan From Next Week. The Opening Ceremony of Xiaomi Pakistan Will Take Place at Its Production Unit Lahore on 4th March, 2022. President Arif Alvi Will be The Chief Guest in the Ceremony.

According to the Official Letter of the company’s notice to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), it is Revealed Air Link Communication Limited Has made All Arrangements to Setup Production Unit of the Xiaomi.

In collaboration with a local partner, Chinese conglomerate Xiaomi is Expected to Produce At Least a sales volume of 550 million Per Year in Pakistan. 

In the Official Letter To the PSX, Xiaomi has Made the Following Statement:-

“This production facility is a step ahead in the direction of the Prime Minister’s objective of ‘Make in Pakistan,’ and will have a tremendous influence on Pakistan’s economy, resulting in export of locally built Xiaomi mobile phones,”

Last Year, Xiaomi become the 2nd Largest Mobile Production and Manufacturing Compnay all over the World. Xiaomi has Beat the Apple Company Last year.

Xiaomi, A Multiaational Mobile Production and Manufacturing Company is Now ranks 334th among Fortune Global 500 firms. The Chinese Brand has Become the No 1 Mobile Selling in Europe and many other significant regions, including India. Xiaomi shipped a record 190.4 million smartphones in the 2021.

Now the Xiaomi, A Chinese Mobile Brand, is Going to Setup its Production Unit  in Kot Lakhpat’s Quaid-e-Azam Industrial Estate, Lahore. Xiaomi has Collaborated With Pakistan Company Air Link in order to Set its Unit in Lahore.

Last Year, Airlink  partnership with Xiaomi that will bring around $450 million in annual top-line revenue. Airlink has Invited the Dr. Arif Alvi, President of Pakistan, on this Event as A Chief Guest in order to  inaugurate the manufacturing plant in Lahore.

It is Also Noticed that Pakistani Mobile Manufacturer Airlink is Already manufactures TCL, ITel, and Tecno mobile phones. Now it is Also Going to the Manufacture Xiaomi Mobiles in Pakistan.

According to the Some Sources, It is Revealed that

  • Airlink Claimed that 3 million Xiaomi handsets will be indigenously manufactured in Pakistan.
  • More than 3,000 direct jobs in the national market.
  • The Pakistan Will Earn More than $550 million through sales of Xiaomi mobiles as A Result of the Production Unit in the Lahore.

Airlink Also Claimed to be the one of the major mobile phone distributors in Pakistan.It has Wide network of the 1,000 wholesalers and 4,000 retailers Across the Different Cities of the PAKISTAN.

As a result of the strategy, assemblers can import semi-knocked down units and assemble them in Pakistan while paying low tariffs and taxes. Previously, imported cellphones were taxed at a rate ranging from 20% to 25%.

On Monday ,The Share Price of the Airlink in the Stock Market has Increased From the Rs54.75 to Rs56.87 After Their Recent Announcement of their Collaboration with Xiaomi.

Adviser to the Prime Minister on Commerce and Investment, Abdul Razak Dawood, has Welcomed and Congratulated the Xiaomi in Following Words:-

“I’d like to congratulate RealMe Mobiles, which has begun producing mobile phones locally at its Lahore operation.” This has not only generated jobs, but it has also reduced the cost of their locally manufactured cellphones.”

Chairman of the Engineering Development Board (EDB) Almas Hyder,  has Informed the Media that More than30 businesses applied for authorization to set up mobile assembly units. After Completing all Paper Work,  19 of the 30 had already begun assembling.

“We expect the remaining firms to begin operations at their respective factories soon,”
